Best Portfolio Award
The photographer submitting the most outstanding portfolio of works will be presented a Best Portfolio Award. The photographer winning the award will be provided with an exhibition opportunity in Mai Manó Gallery in the Hungarian House of Photography - Mai Manó House for the year 2012 and will automatically be invited to join the Studio of Young Photographers.
The winner will be chosen by a panel consisting of the consultants of the review session.
For screening pictures for the Best Portfolio Award the jury will rely on digital files. Each participant joining the contest is requested to submit his/her digital portfolio (CD/DVD) when arriving to the portfolio session. It is critical that the digital files submitted contain the same pictures as the ones presented to the consultants. The CD/DVDs should only contain pdf-files optimized for showing on monitor screens and arranged in the appropriate order. Personal data of the presenter should also be included on the disc submitted. All digital photo-files should be sized in such a way as to best fit into a frame of 1024x768 pixels. The file name should be the same as the name of the presenting photographer.
Photographers who have registered for the portfolio-session but do not submit any digial portfolios will participate in the portfolio reviews but will be excluded from the Best Portfolio Award contest.
